SCYFFA offers 5-on-5 non-contact co-ed flag football leagues. Our youth flag football program is officially sponsored and affiliated with the NFL and the NFL Youth Flag Football Programs. Our programs are designed for boys and girls between the ages of 3 and 13.  We are a recreational league that’s run by a former professional athlete! Our program stresses a “Kids F.I.R.S.T.” environment.  Kids of all levels can play and more importantly have........

My name is James (Jon) Jones. I am a West Virginia University graduate and a 4 year running back for the West Virginia Mountaineers. After leaving Morgantown, I played briefly in the NFL and World Football Leagues.  I was also a Parks & Recreation Director for 12 years. I have 3 beautiful children.
My wife and I developed this league 8 years ago in hopes of creating a fun, non competitive arena for children to learn the fundamentals of football, promote healthy life styles and choices. In doing so, we hope to create a safe place to receive a positive sports experience through fundamental instruction, positive reinforcement, goal setting and goal achievement.  And we appreciate all the parents who help us organize, prepare, coach, referee and volunteer their time.    
Our youth flag football program is officially sponsored and affliated with the NFL Youth Flag Football Programs and USA Football. We are a recreational league (non-compete).
